The year 2025 will bring significant updates to Detector’s product range and brand identity. The goal of these changes is to make our products clearer, easier to recognize, and to ensure a seamless customer experience and purchasing process.
DGT Series Detectors Rebranded as VARIO and KEX
All current gas detectors in the DGT product family will receive new names. Moving forward, these products will be known as VARIO, while DGTkex will have its own distinct name, KEX. The product names will be supplemented with functional descriptors to clearly communicate their capabilities. The aim of this update is to streamline our product range and establish a consistent naming convention. For example:
- DGTk2 → VARIO (cat)
- DGTec2 → VARIO (ec/m)
- DGTt2rw → VARIO (sc)
- DGTkex → KEX
Product Line Simplification and Discontinuation of Certain Products
As part of this renewal, we will phase out products that are in low demand. This will help clarify our selection and improve the customer experience. Discontinued products will remain available under their current names until stocks are depleted.
A Fresh Green Look for Gas Detectors
With the brand refresh, all Detector’s fixed gas detectors will adopt a unified green color scheme. This visual update does not affect product functionality – their internal reliability remains as strong as ever. The new color makes product recognition easier and adds a fresh appearance to various installation environments.
